Apple iPad Mini 2 and iPad Air are now Official

iPad 5 uses the same 9.7" 1536 x 2048 pixels 264 ppi Retina Display as the iPad 4 and sports the A7 chip found also in the iPhone 5S.

The new 9.7 inch iPad is also thinner and takes after the Mini design.

- Width: 6.6 inches (169.5 mm)
- Depth: 0.29 inch (7.5 mm)
- Weight: 1 pound (469 g).
It comes in Grey and Silver starting at $499. It will be available on November, 1st.

As you would expect, the iPad Mini 2 is thinner and packs now a 1536 x 2048 pixels 324 ppi Retina Display. Battery should be roughly the same. It uses the A7 chip as well.
