Vivo Xplay 2 will officially be named Xplay 3S
The news came during the night on Vivo's Weibo account, the Chinese company will name their next flaship, Xplay 3S.
Vivo also explained itself saying that there are way too many new features that they have to skip the name Xplay 2 and the firm released a few teasing photos to back up their claim which is that the new Xplay 3S would be the "King of Android".
Coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S800. This is almost a sure thing. The Xplay comes with a Snapdragon S600, the S800 would be the obvious way to go and to this date, there is no other SoC which is clocked at 2.3 GHz.
Stunning new 2560x1440 resolution which will not be enough to crown immediately the Xplay 3S as the new King of Android but it will award the smartphone to belong in the discussion among top end Android devices.
The Vivo Xplay 3S is going to support 4G which would be the first Chinese top dog to do so. Every others main manufacturers stuck with 3G because the Chinese 4G network is not ready while it is already available across the globe.
Last but not least, Vivo is working on brand new skin called Funtouch OS which entered beta stage. While the Xplay is a good device, it is not beyond criticisms. The software is been reporting to be buggy from time to time and does not offer a smooth experience, so Vivo is addressing the issue and readying a new one.
Mydrivers.com is already publishing a screenshots of the new Funtouch OS.
