Chinese chip maker, Allwinner will make its own 8 cores SoC too
After Samsung and MediaTek, a third company will enter the 8 cores chips arena. The Chinese firm, Allwinner wants its share of the pie too.
Allwinner will adopt the same big.LITTLE configuration same as Samsung and MediaTek. Like the Taiwanese company, Allwinner will be able to activate the 8 at once if needed.
So far, we have little information towards the specs of the 8 cores Allwinner SoC regarding which generation of the ARM core it will sport, the GPU involved or the frequency.
Allwinner is aiming to end year launch.
Though, MediaTek should be able to have a couples of weeks head start.
