Beidou is close to release a budget phone on par with the HongMi. The so called "Spring Onion" from Beidou sports a 5 inch 720p display, a quad core MT6589T, dual sim, 1 GB Ram, 8 GB Rom, 8 MP rear camera with a 2000 mAh battery.
The Spring Onion is compatible with the international 3G network, WCDMA and PhonAsia will offer this phone at the staggering price of $199 in the coming days.
